  1. Today I have been having a bad day.I have been stressing about the typical things people go through when they are about to graduate and dont have a "plan". Even the plans I had have been falling through the cracks so to speak. So some how I mistakenly put 50 dollars on a farecard instead of my smartrip card. So I had to figure out how to get them cards transfered to my smartrip card. (which the people at metro couldnt do based on a technicality, I had left out the metro stop already) So I had to put 7 dollars on 7 different farecards and add the farecards onto my smartrip card. Of course because I was standing at the machine to long some random guy came up and started talking to me. I ignored him and then he asked if I could spare him some change to get home. I continued to ignore him and then thought about "Giving Hearts" and couldnt help but to give him one of my $7 dollar cards. I gave dilligently, though reluctant at first. Well fast forward to a couple of hours later. I found out one of the social workers on the pediatric unit of my intern put in her notice today. So of course I am going to see if I can be considered for her position.:-) I know that God didnt bring me to this opportunity for nothing. So keep me in your prayers.

  2. I went to Dallas this past weekend to see my bf and to spend a little time with his parents. The more I'm around his parents, the more I love them! I asked his mom a while back if she would show me how to make gumbo the next time I visited and she agreed. (His parents are from Louisianna). When I got over to their house, she had already gone to the store to get all of the ingredients, cut everything up and was ready to show me how to make gumbo! We had a great time!

So today, I decided to send them an Edible Arrangement, to let them know that I appreciated their hospitality and that I enjoyed their company. I thought that may like the dessert:-) My boyfriend called it "brown-nosing" but I thought it was pretty kind;-)
